Meeting

I said during the meeting today that I don't blog about politics. You can hear it for yourself here.

But the N&R said the participants may have something to say, so I guess I'll say something.

First, it's going to piss him off, but I'm going to say it anyway. Bubba is a nice guy! Pleasant. Reasonable. Quite charming, actually. I enjoyed meeting him. (B -- I sent you an email saying so but it bounced back. Check the email address you have on your blog.)

As for the substance of the meeting, anytime people are communicating in an authentic and respectful manner, it is productive. Will any substantive changes result? I'm not sure. We'll wait and see. I'm not sure we achieved our stated goals, but we saw one another as people rather than just words on a page. That's something at least.

Taking it easy!

Things have been pretty crazy at work.

I needed some relaxation.

So on Saturday, my "girls," Bundles 1&3, and girlfriend of Bundle 2, went out to lunch. The food was terrific, the service was excellent, AND they accept reservations, even for lunch. The Bravo Trio (with four forks) was worth the trip by itself.

Then we moved on to Luxury Nails on the recommendation of Sue. Thanks from us all, Sue. And Sue, they don't have a website. Go show 'em some love!

So what we had was four women, three of whom ordered wine with lunch, (Bundle 3 was the designated driver), sitting in massage chairs, giggling through getting their feet pumiced.

What a way to relax!

I said clean your room NOW!

Things I shouldn't have to tell you, but will tell you anyway -- Office Edition

When you open up the community refrigerator and smell the milk to see if it should be poured into your coffee and decide it's sour, DON'T PUT IT BACK IN THE REFRIGERATOR! Throw it out!
